FAMILY PICTURES

As our family is growing, my mom and sisters had been talking about getting together to have our family pictures taken. After losing my grandparents recently, we knew that we wanted to have the pictures taken in their barn.
The only time that would work was an evening after 5pm. We were going to run out of daylight if we didn't get them scheduled soon. Luckily we were able to squeeze the pics in before the time change.
The photographer that we chose, ANDREA ORTIZ of After the Stork Photography captured the GREATEST pictures! She did an amazing job and we are SO thankful.

We all had individual family pictures taken, as well as a large family one.

Here is just a preview!!

What a Weekend!

Had a great weekend! My sister, Jess, my mom and I went to the Matthew West and Josh Wilson concert at the Christian Family Center in Adrian. It was a blast! Amazing Worship!

Sunday we took the kids to get their pics taken in their Halloween costumes. They both looked adorable. I took a few pictures at the house before we left. I cannot wait to post the professional pics of them. Here is a quick preview of them. Aiden is dressed up as a "Hunter" this year. I didn't get a picture of him with his face paint on, so you will have to wait to see that. He just loves his gun. It makes real shooting noises and everything. Oh and we through in some rattling horns too!

Miss Miley was a skunk. A friend of mine makes tutus and hairbows and she had a halloween line this year. The name of her business is Two Tutu Ladies. Isn't Miley just adorable!!

Here are just a few random new pics of Miss Miley and Aiders. I can't believe how quickly she is growing! Before you know it she'll be turning one and Aiden will be 3...YIKES!

My new fave...

Just wanted to share...

I just purchased the greatest shoes in the world.

I recently found this pair on ebay and I fell in love! They are SO comfortable and give so much support.

I've never been a huge fan of CROCs, but once I wore a pair of Croc flip flops I was hooked. I truly cannot go back to a regular pair of flip flops.

I have tried and my feet ache! I encourage everyone to check out http://www.crocs.com/. Check out the selection of shoe types made by CROC. They don't just make the "nurse" shoe. There really are some super cute styles.

Like seriously...how cute are these??

Miss Miley's 4 month Update

Well I took Miss Miley in for her 4 month checkup. Surprise...Surprise...she is in the 97th Percentile for both height and weight. She is 26" long and 15lbs 2 oz.

Doc says she is growing beautifully. She is starting to hold her head up better now, but still wants nothing to do with belly time. She definitely is going at her own pace...which I am thrilled with. Since Miley is our last PLANNED baby, I want her to take her time. I am in no hurry to have her scurrying around the floor. I love that she stays where I put her for now.

In the last couple weeks she acquired thrush, which is an oral yeast infection. We've been treating her for that and that has made her irritable. She hasn't been sleeping that well and has been quite cranky. Just last weekend she was up every hour and a half for a couple of nights. Not what mommy and daddy are used to. She has slept 6 or 7 hours since birth. However, in the last couple of nights she has been sleeping through the night and doing much better. She is getting back to her normal content and happy self.

She has chosen in the last couple weeks that she prefers milk from a bottle. It comes out with a lot less work on her part than nursing from mommy. I still nurse at night, but she wants nothing to do with it at during the day. (which is more convenient for me anyway!)

Aaron and I are so blessed to have two beautiful, wonderful children. I thank God every day for the family he has blessed me with.
